1) How Did You Come Up With Your Name?
We came up with the name years
before we started Mr. Hand by watching the movie
Fast Times at Ridgemont High. It was the name of the history teacher.
That's got to be the best movie ever made!!

2) How Long Have You Been Together As A Band?
August of 2007 marked our 12th year together.

3) What's The Funniest Thing That's Happened
At One of Your Shows?
Just us playing is funny enough isn't it?   Ha-ha! We don't take ourselves serious at all -
we just play to have fun without chips on our shoulders. I think that's what people like about us - no egos, just good times!   Although in the early days, a guy wanted to hear some Megadeth and told us that if we didn't play some he would eat the ash tray on the table next to him. We didn't play any Megadeth and sure as the day is long he grabbed that full ashtray and downed all the butts and ashes...He had to leave shortly after!!!

4) What is One Thing you Want Our Readers
To Know About You?
We are just a fun cover band that also has 4 discs of original music we have written. We like to have fun and party and bring a relaxed attitude to the shows.

5) Where Do You See Yourself in 10 years?
I think if we are not still in this band we will have our hands into something musical in one way or another.Once you have done this for as long as we have it never really leaves you I think.

6) Where Did You Grow Up?
Bret and Jeff grew up in Beemer,NE our whole lives and I'm pretty sure Craig grew up in Pennsylvania and Sioux City,IA.

7) What Person or Artist Would You Like To Meet?
I have met Jason Newsted which was the coolest thing I have ever done in my life. I would like to meet the rest of the guys in Metallica and tell them they need Jason back!!   Bret would love to meet the guys in Pearl Jam and drink some Crown Royal with them. I know Craig would like to meet any hair metal band from 1980 - 1991 and trade drumming moves like stick spinning and windmill arms!!

8) What's The Biggest Reward To You Individually
From Being In This Group?
I can speak for all of us when I say friendship is the base for the band. We started out in 1995 and told each other that no matter what, friends and family come first. We've lived by that since and it has gotten us all through some crazy times.
We've only had one lineup change in 12 years and that's because our original drummer Jeff Lickfelt moved away for a job. I can't even tell you if we have ever had a band fight or a serious argument.   We all get along so well and when Craig was hired as Jeff's replacement he fell right into that mold - good friends and good times!!   We've seen local bands come and go and we are glad we kept true to our friendship roots - it's kept us strong!

9) What's the Biggest Challenge For You Guys As A Band?
I would say it falls on the original side of being in a band. We are a cover band but still have that little fire inside that wants to hit the road and try to "make it".   We can't sell our souls and live for the rock these days because of family and things but I think that if the time was right we
could find a way to do it. We are still searching for that big Midwest break you know?

10) Who Or What Are Your Biggest Influences?
Anything and everything from metal to folk music to grunge and pop songs. We try not to limit ourselves to specific genres of music. I think if you open yourself up to more things, the writing you do reflects that.
All of our CD collections are very broad and awesome - ha-ha!
