How Did You Come Up With Your Name? Obviously, we like to party,
so that explains part of Under The Influence,
but we are also influenced by several different kinds of music, from heavy metal,to blues,to punk.
You can’t really define our sound, and we like it this way. There’s no rules of “we have to sound heavy all the time”
or “we have to play all covers”.
Whatever comes out, that’s us!
How Long Have You Been Together As A Band? We have been friends from 12-20 years,
and we started jamming back in 2004.
What's The Funniest Thing That's Happened At One of Your Shows? Probably at Margie Gras,
when some old guy asked us to play some “slow country".
We don’t have a problem with some country,
but that’s not something we practice.
So, we gave him “Sweet Leaf” by Black Sabbath instead!
What is One Thing you Want Our Readers To Know About You? That we are all just regular guys who love music, and love being able to share it with people!
We are all self-taught musicians,and we appreciate all
of the people who have given us a chance!
We have some of the coolest people as fans!!
Where Do You See Yourself in 10 years? Hopefully by then,we will have made some killer albums,toured the world,and are living happily!
Or,just still jamming in Brian’s basement as the good friends
we started out to be,havin' a blast!
Where Did You Grow Up? We all pretty much grew up in South Central Nebraska.
Floyd is from Modesto, California,
Si from Kansas as well.
What Person or Artist Would You Like To Meet? Any of the people that have
influenced us the most: Ozzy Osbourne, Zakk Wylde:
Past heroes: Dimebag Darrell, Johnny Cash, Kurt Cobain.
What's The Biggest Reward To You Individually
From Being In This Group? Just knowing that me and some of the best friends I know,
get a chance to make music and play shows together!
The best thing for me is when we just start playing something out of the blue: one of us will just start noodling with something, then the next thing you know,
Brian’s got a beat to it, and we’re playing something brand new
like we’ve rehearsed it 20 times before!

What's the Biggest Challenge For You Guys As A Band? Probably the biggest challenge is finding
time to get together and jam.
We all have different schedules, families,
5 different lives to try and balance.
Sometimes, we’re lucky to practice once every 2 weeks.
But, when we do get together,it’s really a lot of fun!
Who Or What Are Your Biggest Influences?. Black Sabbath,Old Metallica,Pantera,
Zakk Wylde,Johnny Cash,Nirvana,Led Zeppelin,
Lynyrd Skynyrd,Kiss, AC/DC. Tons more,
but those are some of the biggest.
